Suzuki Violin

About

Suzuki is a world-renowned teaching method based on children's innate ability to learn their own native languages. The method stresses ear training and rote learning while also teaching the necessary theory and reading skills necessary to all musicians.

What We Offer

  • 18 private lessons per semester
  • 12 group classes per semester
  • 2 recitals per semester (one solo, one group)
  • 1 parent meeting per semester
  • Semesterly opportunities to participate in evaluations and competitions

Private Lessons

In the weekly private lessons, students receive specific individual instruction of instrument fundamentals and technical skills. Parents will receive instruction on how best to work with their children to create a healthy learning environment at home.

Group Classes

Students learn to work together in groups, participate in theory games, learn to play together in ensembles, and gain leadership skills.

Pre-Enrollment and Observation

Before enrolling, children and their parents participate in a free observation period of both private and group classes. This is an important opportunity for families to meet other students and get a better understanding of what the program entails before making a decision about enrollment.
