PERFORMING ARTS CAMP SUmmer 2016
FOR AGES 7-17…..LET THE PLAY BEGIN
ANNIKA, Academy Piano student of Ai Wei Lee won for her outstanding essay on DARE program which is run by Loudon county sheriff's department in Loudon county schools. D.A.R.E. stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education and is a drug-abuse prevention program that teaches students about drug abuse, the consequences and how to resist peer pressure. Annika's essay was chosen from her class as an outstanding essay to be read in school for DARE graduation.
JAIDEN PUTHENKALAM Academy Group Piano student of Ai Wei Lee in the KM4 piano class won 1st place in the KAGW (Kerala Association of Greater Washington) Talent Time competition. He won 1st place in his category for instrumental wind. This is the 2nd year that Jaiden won 1st place in this competition. Here is a link to his video
