Monthly Automatic Payments: When you register initially for the month to month, the Academy sets up an automatic withdrawal from your credit card on the first of each month. The monthly tuition amount is the same each month. It reflects the average number of teaching weeks per month overall. The Academy does not alter monthly tuition due to differing number of weeks.
Withdrawal and Stop Autopay: There are no long term or semester contracts. You may withdraw whenever you choose. However, no partial month refund or adjustments will be issued. To withdraw from classes or lessons:

Declined Card Fee: We allow one declined card transaction. With subsequent declined card transactions, a $30 declined card fee will be charged automatically. Thank you for keeping your card up to date.
Withdraw and Restart: If a withdrawal notice is received (see above), the student is able to attend any and all lessons/classes up to the end of the last paid month. Beginning the next week, that slot is considered available to other students. Unfortunately, we cannot hold an unpaid slot.
To restart lessons/classes, students will need to re-register.
Summer Vacation and Monthly Autopay: Your lessons or classes are ongoing through the year, except for the closed dates outlined on our website. However, to accommodate planned Summer vacations between July 1 and August 31, with notice, we will refund up to two classes/lessons missed due to planned vacations. Homework assignments or video recordings of the class will not be emailed for refunded classes.

- Your first payment is for the first month of lessons and the current registration fee are due at the time of registration.

- The first payment total may be different from following months due to adjustments (i.e. One-time Registration Fee, prorating for starting mid month, etc.) All future monthly auto payments are for tuition amounts only. No more fees.
- There is an automatic annual tuition increase at the start of the new academic year starting in September of every year. A reminder email will be sent to parents and adult students at least one month prior to the new academic year. In the event that there is an error and the reminder email is not received, the new tuition will still begin at the start of the new academic year with the full understanding of the Academy policies by the parents and adult students at the time of registration.

- New Students: At the end of the checkout process, by using the Academy Registration Cart (register.TheAcademyOfFineArts.com), entering your credit card number and submitting it you are providing authorization to automatically charge your card on the first of each month in accordance with these policies.

- 4) The dates you plan to miss.
Calendar:
- Piano Classes - New classes (level 1 students) will begin the first week in September and the first week in February.
- Private Lessons - These can begin at any time. Tuition will be prorated appropriately.
- Summer Schedule - We recognize that families need vacation. To accommodate, there is a 2 lesson/class allowance. If you write the teacher and the office with the two summer dates you will need, those two dates will be refunded to you. Please read "Summer Vacation and Monthly Autopay".
