Suzuki Violin is a world-renowned teaching method based on children's innate ability to learn their own native languages. The method stresses ear training and rote learning while also teaching the necessary theory and reading skills necessary to all musicians.

There are many Suzuki Violin teacher and programs. What makes the Academy's program special? A very precise and effective teaching methodology taught by a master teacher who has a deep understanding of our particular teaching process and who also recognizes the importance of a nurturing teaching environment.

Suzuki at the Academy of Fine Arts includes:
  • Weekly private lessons
  • 2 to 3 group classes per month
  • Solo and ensemble concerts throughout the year
  • Parent meetings and events
  • Learning with peers and private with a Master Teacher
The combination of private lessons and group classes is an invaluable aspect of the Suzuki Violin training at the Academy of Fine Arts. Parents receive instruction on how best to work with their children at home to create a healthy learning environment. This is a family enterprise that ensures excitement and success.

Pre-Enrollment and Observation
Before enrolling, children and their parents participate in a free observation period of both private and group classes. This is an important opportunity for families to meet other students and get a clear understanding of what the program entails before making the decision to enroll.
