Acting Classes for Young Children through Teens

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world." Albert Einstein

Fun, imagination and confidence are vital! Our classes offer real acting education; how to handle scripts, develop characters, imagine character's feelings and motivations based on the student's own understanding. And, we tech in a way that brings actors right into the material, allows them to discover and play with their ensemble partners, and develop the foundations of reliable acting technique.

Our professional actor/teachers communicate and hone foundational acting principles through age appropriate materials, scripts and activities. Even our 4-5 years olds build real technique, even though they may not realize it. They're having too much fun!
Here are some of the skills our classes help strengthen:
  • Stand on two feet and present themselves in a positive manner
  • Follow directions given to them by the director
  • Be a good listener as an audience member as well as a fellow performer
  • Become many characters through empathy and imagination
  • Research a character, story or play to understand complex relationships and acting problems. Even our youngest can get a good start on this.
  • Think logically as an actor and ensemble member
  • Speak so that others can hear
  • Participate with others as a good team player
  • Be introduced to a variety of contemporary and classical literature
  • Use their presentation/acting skills in their personal lives and academic life to improve and enhance their experiences
